Kko Kko Nara

Had a not-so-great day at work today. Had a stupid meeting with the bosses that made me so freaking sleepy because I already knew their 'speech' which was supposed to be unknown.

After work, my man bought me to Kko Kko Nara today. The real authentic korean cusine! Woohoo~ His 2nd visit and my 1st visit. Haha. Anyway it was raining like pigs again! But luckily we got a parking lot fast. But... my suede shoes got wet...damn the rainy days!

As usual, we were told that it's fully packed and we waited outside for like 20mins before we got ourselves a table. The interior is not very big. There is just probably 12 tables that can sit 6 people each. As usual, there is a TV above screening Korean variety shows. I realized Korean restaurants really into this Korean TV thingy... Just like Ssikek Korean Grill at Novena Ville.

Utensils

Well, we ordered the Combo Chicken Set ($25) which consists of Original/Soy Garlic/Sweet Sour. 3 each. I like the Soy Garlic flavour the most! Not too heavily flavored as compared to the Sweet and Sour and it still remains the crispness on the fried skin. Original was also well-flavoured with super crunchiness at every bite and thank god it wasn't very greasy! Do not quite like the Sweet and Sour... I find it too sweet (imagine I always eat very sweet stuffs...) and the skin wasn't as crispy as the rest due to the sauce on it.

We also ordered a small Kimchi Jungol with Pork ($25) and a plate of Traditional Rice ($3) on stainless steel container to share. The soup is good man! Or is is the weather out there that added extra oomph to it? Lol!

Traditional Rice with Egg & Hotdog ($3)

Try it if you are craving for authentic Korean food or Korean Fried Chicken!
