Soong Huat Bak Kut Teh / Ah Sheng Lok Lok at JB

Today is JB day. Wanted to go and eat Ah Soon Bak Kut Teh but saw online that it closes at 3pm... And it's almost impossible as I'm still home at 12pm. Lol. So went to try another famous BKT place called Soong Huat Bak Kut Teh near Aeon JUSCO which just nice we can go for movie after that!

Reached Custom at about 2+ and luckily there's no jam. :) Drove all the way up to Jalan Harmonium. It's a straight route from custom... And you just need to check your map a little upon seeing Aeon Jusco. So I guess it shouldn't be too big of a difficulty to get there. Anyway I'm not the one driving, so I just relax and admire the scenery. Haha.

Ordered the BKT for 1 person share ($8RM) and woah when it arrived at our table, it definitely doesn't look like a 1 person share. Smart. It was those more herbal type and not the usual teochew peppery type. The taste was a bit sweet and luckily the herbal taste wasn't over-strong. Just nice and plentiful of good stuffs inside considering the cheap price. Pork liver, Pork ribs, Button mushrooms... And you have the option to add extra ingredients if you like. But No-No for us because I still wanna have 'space' for my Lok Lok for dinner.

Bak Kut Teh for 1pax ($8RM)

We also ordered the Yellow Ginger Wine Chicken ($9RM for small) that was super raved by other food bloggers. And damn, it's really GOOD man! The wine taste is like shiokadoo with a sweet savory gravy. The chicken was tender and fresh and when you eat it with the wine and sweet gravy... it's just WOAH! Our eyes immediately looked at each other upon the moment we dig into this dish. Haha.

Yellow Ginger Wine Chicken ($9RM small)

Ordered a small plate of Stir-fry Chye Sim ($4RM) But that plate was nothing to rave about. Just very normal taste.

All in total just $23RM for 2 person.

Piping & Sizzling Hot!

This is why I love JB. Cheap and good food. Everywhere~ Singapore.... Tsk.... Limited.

Chillax at Starbucks with Nov Fav, Peppermint Mocha Frap while waiting for movie, Cold War at TGV. Starring Aaron Kwok & Andy Lau & 张家辉 . Not bad! 4/5 popcorns.

After that we drove to our fav lok lok 阿胜乐乐 at Permas Jaya!

阿胜乐乐
Started out from a... VAN... to THIS.

Check out how much is the color according to the yellow board

The level of spiciness is from Right to Left.

Busy Uncle rushing the never-ending orders.

Varieties

The Abalone Mushroom is a MUST-EAT! Grabbed Abalone Mushroom, Enoki Mushroom, Crispy Beancurd Skin, Premium Pork, Prawns, Long Bean Wrapped with Ham, Chicken Backside (mm...) ... .... and my Ice Jelly 爱玉冰 ~ One word of advice is that you might want to go easy on the greenish chilli if you can't take high level of spiciness. But for me, I love! Lol!

The Mushy-Roomies.

The Meats.

Yummy is the word!
Super full & satisfied!

Back to Singapore... Packing clothes for gym tomorrow. (Work Hard, Laine!)

Life... ....

And it's 2am... ALREADY.
